But even cryptic definitions surely have to allude to the actual meaning of the word / phrase.  &#039;A rolling stone gathers no moss&#039; means something like &#039;people that keep moving don&#039;t become attached to things&#039;, which is not suggested by the clue at all - it&#039;s a kind of &#039;double wordplay&#039; clue.]]></description>
