Second blog of the day for me, luckily it’s quiet at work today as I’ve still got to do last Saturday’s Times yet on the other blog! Still, this Rufus puzzle was pretty straightforward with the usual mix of cryptic and double definitions, some good, some a bit iffy…

A compiler I usually struggle with but not on this occasion. There are some very nice clues in this but a couple that I don’t fully understand and a couple of (I think) weak puns/cryptic defs. Read the rest of this entry »

Apologies to my fellow bloggers for letting the side down, but better late than never I suppose… I had hoped to get this posted before lunchtime on Friday, but work was far too busy and I wasn’t able to spend more than 5 minutes on the puzzle, let alone writing up a blog entry. After lunch on Friday I was off to London and didn’t get back online until late last night (and a bit worse for wear).
