Situations Vacant: Financial Times solvers

Posted by neildubya on May 14th, 2007

neildubya.

We would like to start including the Financial Times puzzles in this blog. The FT puzzle is set by many of the same people that also set the Independent and Guardian crosswords, and it’s more readily available to overseas solvers. It’s also a shade easier than other “broadsheets” so it’s a good puzzle for new solvers to tackle. So, if you would like to write about this puzzle and are able to do so at least once a week, please drop a mail to fifteensquared (at) googlemail (dot) com.

I’d suggest don’t run before you can walk, there doesn’t seem to be a Paul blog up yet, nor the last Azed.

I’d say we’ve been “running” just fine for about 6 months now – one or two missing posts here and there is not the end of the world and is to be expected; after all, our bloggers do have real lives to get on with you know.

“The last Azed”: our current policy is to leave the Azed clue-writing competition puzzles to “Doctor Watson” who has been writing about them for a few years at http://www.crossword.org.uk/azr.htm
