Inquisitor 39 – a plea for help

Posted by petebiddlecombe on October 5th, 2007

I’m stuck on this with little time left before going to Cheltenham. I’ve solved all but three of the normal clues but have no idea about the theme. If you’ve solved it, leave a comment to say to or send an e-mail to [email protected] , and we can work out a joint blog of some kind early next week.

I now have an answer, so a report will be appearing.

I solved about a half of this in two or three sessions and doubt whether I’ll find time to return to it and even if I do I’m not sure I’ll finish it – whereas I finished The Listener relatively easily. I’m not the world’s best solver of very hard puzzles – but take a modicum of consolation, Peter

Sorry for posting this here but there isn’t anywhere else for me to post. Didn’t anyone do last Saturday’s prize crossword? It had a music theme.

I don’t normally get the Indy but picked up a free one in a hotel but, just my luck, it seems to be the only one that doesn’t get blogged!

If you think a puzzle is missing, your best options are to send an e-mail to the address in the FAQ, or to just wait. A report for this one appeared on 9th October.
