One not mentioned in the blog was “US retreat affected Beckham? (4,5) CAMP DAVID, made even better as a nine-letter anagram was falsely suggested. Like neildubya, I found this the least difficult Scorpion of the year. I think ONEROUS may be people = ones containing (our)* with wars indicating the anagram.
