Wishing Everybody A Happy & Rewarding New Year

Monday Prize Crossword on 22 December 2008
dd = double definition
cd = cryptic definition
rev = reversed or reversal
ins = insertion
cha = charade
ha = hidden answer
*(fodder) = anagram

Since I am also a compiler, I have Ross Beresford’s excellent software, Sympathy. without which I would have taken much more time to create the grid to fit in the answers. Perhaps not such an easy competition although the clues are quite solvable and most of the cryptic definitions are quite amusing.
