Azed 1932 – clue correction
Posted by petebiddlecombe on June 7th, 2009
If you’re finding the bottom half harder than it should be …
It’s been announced elsewhere that in the printed paper, the clues to 23D and 24D were swapped. In case the online version has been or will be corrected, 23D should start “Roast bananas …” and 24D should start “Pick stuff …”.

Peter
Yes, as I’ll be blogging this puzzle next Sunday, I’m very grateful for the correction. I think I would have got there eventually, (I had just begun to wonder why almost the only possible solution for 23 down was the one I had originally put in for 24 down) but the penny hadn’t quite dropped. And I thought I was safe working from the pdf!

Thanks. Thought I’d take a look here as it seemed impossible – no wonder it took me ages…
