Everyman No. 3273 (June 21st).

Posted by The Trafites on June 28th, 2009

The Trafites.

Our first blog (as the The Trafites), and we look forward to doing this.

A fairly straight forward Everyman this week.
25ac is unusual as we have seen RED RUM used for the reversal of MURDER, but never seen it used the other way around.
13dn is an obvious anagram, but at the time we did not have a clue who or which ‘Alonso’s brother’ was/is, but have since discovered that Alonso is the King of Naples in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, and SEBASTIAN is his brother.

Legend to solution comments:

  2. Andrew Kitching says:

There is a problem with the Everyman site today (Jul5). You get the pdf for next week, plus today’s answers!

  3. The trafites says:

Oh dear yes, they have published the next week’s PDF.

  4. C G Rishikesh says:

I too noticed it. In effect they have published this week’s solution prematurely.
