As with Duncan, P&lt;b&gt;AG&lt;/b&gt;ANINI and S&lt;b&gt;AU&lt;/b&gt;TEED gave me the &lt;i&gt;silver&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;gold&lt;/i&gt; removals; then, having solved 1d, 2d, 4d and 5d, I was led to &quot;Domine d&#8230;i&#8230;&quot; and 26a almost before I&#039;d really started. 

Regarding 18a, Duncan&#039;s parsing seems reasonable enough, though I had it as a DD, BETH being the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet.]]></description>
