Lorraine:  Thank you Everyman, quite a breeze this week, nothing to taxing, perhaps having a week off helped and gave my poor brain a rest. I hope everyone else found this weeks as pleasant to solve as I did.

Quite a hard puzzle this week, with a lot more unfamiliar words than usual, I think. My favourites clue are 10ac and 22dn for their unusual and confusing – but totally sound – constructions.
