Everyman No. 3319 (9th May)

Posted by The Trafites on May 16th, 2010

The Trafites.

Lorraine:  Another nice Everyman – unusual as RETSINA appeared two weeks ago.

Nick:  Sorry for late publication – I was to put this up after yesterday’s FA Cup  final, but got drunk and forgot!  Still, at least Pompey has one winner today – ME, as I won AZED 1978 :D

  1. Davy says:

    Thanks Lorraine,

6d is even cleverer than you may think. ‘As’ is also the abbreviation for the element arsenic. It took me ages to figure out why the answer was arsenic.

  2. Davy says:

Correction, ‘As’ is the symbol for the element arsenic.

  3. Kathryn's Dad says:

Thanks for explaining ARSENIC, Davy – I put it in but couldn’t work out the definition.
