Thanks Uncle Yap. I found this a much harder Cincinnus than usual and no wonder with clues like 19A. R and L for hands is too much for me to accept as being reasonable.

Yep, Uncle Yap, the clues you gave a special mention (1d, 5d and 15d) were exactly my Favourites of the Day – indeed, lovely surfaces.

In 26d, I thought the ‘heavyweight’ was a BOXER, which after disheartening would become a BOER.

I am not sure whether 14ac (STRING ALONG) is a dd.
It could be that STRING is a ‘stay’, and ALONG is ‘with’.
