Yes, 14ac (YOU AND I), that was exactly one of the clues that made this Cincinnus different from some previous offerings.
One of the (many) highlights, too.

14d (YOM KIPPUR) is also a bit un-Cincinnus (IMO) for the way ‘without’ is used. I know, it is standard for ‘coming outside’, but it is more Araucarian than Curlian.

And yes, IDES, that 4-letter word was clued in a stunning way.

I would not have got PRAHU myself without a dictionary (even though earlier this year I was on a boat off Bali that probably was a prahu!).

Thanks for explaining IDES Peter – very clever. I remember doing this at an airport waiting for a delayed flight and it helped pass the time in a very enjoyable way. Failed to get PRABU. An excellent puzzle.
