Derby Sloggers and Betters Event 29th January

Update and Important Request

The get-together in Derby is only a couple of weeks away, and I need to send everyone who’s indicated they’re coming some final details. The most important bit is that we are now up to 38 attendees, and the chef at The Waterfall has requested that we indicate starters and main course choices in advance so that he/she has a decent chance of getting us all fed on time.  So can I please ask those who previously haven’t contacted me directly on my e-mail to do so?  Just a one-liner so that I have your e-mail address to send you the relevant stuff.  I will reply to everyone individually, so I won’t share your address with others.

Independent 7565/Phi

Guardian 25,219 / Brendan

Seeing the word KING in every across clue made me think back to Bonxie’s rather difficult puzzle of last week when LEFT began all the Down clues and four of the Across clues.  Fortunately, for me at least , this puzzle was easier.
