I heard a short while ago that flashling has unexpected work commitments today and will be unable to blog so here is an analysis of the clues. Sorry for the brevity and lack of comments but I wanted to get something posted before having to go out to an appointment.

A delightful puzzle from Pasquale – scrupulously fair clues, as ever, and not too hard today. Incidentally, I think this is my 150th post on fifteensquared :)

Mudd seems to have taken a leaf out of Dante’s book today with a third of the clues being double/cryptic definitions. This is too high a percentage for my liking but it may suit others. Apart from that, the cluing was straightforward and fair though for me it seemed to lack some of Mudd’s usual wit and sparkle. Read the rest of this entry »
