A minor point, but I would explain 14a as UN in [ADULTS OBSERVED]*

Yes, this was excellent, favourites HITCHED and ACID-HEADS. The IR may be now called something much longer, but they were there for a hell of a long time as that and affected most people’s lives, so I’d say that’s quite OK for a while still and could help to get a start on solving a clue as here for me. Good to see some nice quality from Dac, although I would have missed him last week anyway. Love the way AMERICANISATION is spelt with and S and not a Z!
