A satisfying Sunday puzzle as always. With a bit of patience I managed all but one entry (4dn) before reaching for help. I think I’ve explained everything this week, but do ask if anything isn’t clear.

I must admit that I’d overlooked that it was my turn to blog this week, so unfortunately I didn’t take detailed notes as I solved. A week on, this all seems relatively straightforward, though I suppose it would do with the answers in front of me! That said, I can’t fathom how I got to the answer for 22ac, so I’ve reproduced the clue here.

Enigmatist is one of the most prolific crossword setters and has a knack of introducing new ideas and twists into his puzzles. I think this was probably one of the more offbeat of his creations.
