(Sorry to the lateness of this post – I meant to do it yesterday evening but it slipped my mind, I’m afraid.) This was an enjoyable puzzle, although we found it quite tough going, only getting the meaning of “T” rather late.

I had a bit of ‘blogger’s blindness’ on this one.
I found it a struggle, harder than most Tyrus puzzles I’ve tackled before – hard to get started and hard to make inroads into.

We were pleased to have another Phi to blog but for some reason this wasn’t as much fun as some of his more recent ones. There’s nothing to complain about, all the clues are fair with good surface readings, which is what one expects from Phi.

An invigorating challenge to start the day. Some clues took me far longer to solve than they should have, but I’d still rate this is as an above-average toughie by FT standards. Thank-you, Loroso.

Yes, it’s me again – I’m standing in for Eileen, who is away. After Brendan yesterday I was delighted again to get Paul today, with a lot of his trademark humour and cheeky clues, including some very nice &lit-ish surfaces

The FT Tuesday gremlin struck yesterday, and the puzzle appeared only today, at the same time as today’s puzzle. I have liked Neo’s puzzles, and this was no exception, it was perhaps a little bit easier than usual. Hopefully there are those, like me who waited to solve the puzzle when it finally appeared. Making the best of a bad situation, this posting is late (just like the puzzle), but better (1 day) late than never? Definitions are underlined in the clues. Each picture at the bottom has its own unidentified link to the crossword.

This was a good example of a daily puzzle. The entries are everyday words and the clues conjured up plenty of mental images, many involving enjoyable misdirection. I struggled a bit deconstructing the English in 1 across, but I think I have got the idea right.
