Hi Bamberberger, I neglected to mention it but I had some trouble with 10D (SWORDTAIL) as I was not familiar with the fish in question.

I never did get APTERYX. I can see now why. Well done.

I liked Teachests but for me the standout clue was 23A (Columba) – very clever indeed.
