As I’ve come to expect from Nimrod, some very clever clues, but several whose explanation defeats me, something that I trust will be remedied. He has done very well to get in so many thematic answers.

It’s been more than a year (time flies!) since I last blogged a Redshank. Going by previous blogs, this is another typical puzzle from him – not that easy, with many good surfaces, WIWD clues, and quite some enjoyably tricky ones. Thanks Redshank. Based on comments re other puzzles by him, I was glad I could complete this one. Definitions are underlined in the clues.
