Hi first time posting, I love this blog and try really hard not to peek before I have finished, but please as a person who still after quite some time regards herself as a cryptic beginner, don’t assume that people should have had no problems with a particular puzzle. It is really disheartening and makes me feel inadequate when I have had!!

I don’t like ‘caution’ as a definition of FORESIGHT. But my argument is with the dictionaries, not the setter I suppose.

Thanks Lorraine. No real problems here except that I entered ABOUT at 23a without knowing why. I understood A+BOUT of course, but why engaged? Can someone please explain?
