My first attempt at Dac and I enjoyed it. 13 was very good. I had Tania too and it held me up a while. Some unusual indicators – folded, jumping, tackles – produced some good surfaces. The wordplay for 3 was a bit of a stretch, but I liked it nonetheless.

Hi all. Looking forward to the hosting transfer: 225 has been grinding to a halt on my machine anyway! Thanks duncanshiell for the usual clear blog. K’s D – a bracelet strap or bracelet is a frequently used expression for a wristwatch strap, I think you’ll find.

All good stuff as usual from Dac, though I completed the puzzle without being able to parse all the clues – OINKS, ESCAPOLOGIST and WATCHSTRAP among others. So thanks for your masterly blog, Duncan.

K’s D @ 1: One can have a watch on a bracelet rather than a leather strap, so I suppose one can stretch a point to call a watchstrap a bracelet.

Indeed, Dac always produces an enjoyable crossword for our Wednesday mornings. Favourites today were OINKS (now you’ve explained it, Duncan), VIEWFINDER and WUNDERKIND. I too had TANIA, and I think this works as well; so perhaps a bit ambiguous, which is unusual for Dac. And is a WATCHSTRAP a ‘bracelet’?

But other than that, a fine puzzle.
