I won’t say too much about this morning’s offering from Redshank, because a combination of software, hardware and newsagent failings have already made me very late. So I’ll only say that I thought this was a great puzzle, and that I wish I’d had more time to appreciate it. Thank-you, Redshank.

‘Mixed bag’ is a term that has been applied more than once to Gordius puzzles, by me and others – and here’s another: some good clues but, as so often, I have quibbles regarding quite a few more.

Monday Prize Crossword/Nov 26
Mostly straightforward, but as always with a Dante puzzle there were these final bits that held me up. I think the end-product is right, but I need some help to justify one or two clues.
