Guardian 25,858 – Gordius

There seemed to be less to nitpick about here than I usually find in Gordius puzzles, but not a great deal to get excited about either, with a lot of very easy clues, some rather weak cryptic definitions, and a bit of obscure knowledge needed to confirm the parsing of 28a.

Independent 8204 / Crosophile

Inquisitor 1265: A-trocity by Shark

Shark has set a number of Inquisitor puzzles and each has been very satisfying.  I blogged one focused on Socrates and his comment that he didn’t know there were so many things he could do without.  Having glanced at many catalogues and websites over the Christmas period, I can tell him that nothing has changed.
