A lovely puzzle from Puck, with a great variety of witty cluing and amusing surfaces and a mini ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme. It took me a little while to get into it but I really enjoyed the challenge. Many thanks, Puck, for the fun.

The usual good crossword from Phi that I found a bit harder than usual. I’m still quite lost on 25ac and would be grateful for some help here: it will surely be forthcoming and then I’ll realise how feeble I’ve been.

A new setter, I believe, certainly not one I have come across before – Should be interesting then. Twencelas’ third principle “Variety is the spice of the solver”. Do I, perhaps, detect a scientific mind behind this puzzle?
