Guardian 25,916 / Rufus

The familiar Rufus medley of anagrams and double and cryptic definitions.  Some witty misdirection and the usual silky surfaces made this an entertaining puzzle for me – a couple of unusual words, but easily gettable. Many thanks, Rufus, for the smiles.

Independent 8262 by Alchemi

I’ve not come across Alchemi before, but this seemed to be very much in the tradition of reasonably gentle Quixote Monday puzzles. There were a few where the wordplay took a bit of working out e.g. 13, 22.
