I received an email from our hosting company yesterday regarding the site’s move to a new server, quote: “We will be migrating your website(s) and email to our new, high performance hosting platform on Thursday 10th September AM. We have made this process as seamless as possible so that you experience minimal downtime while your data is copied over …”.
From the hiatus in the comments it would appear that this took place sometime between 1207 and 1434, rather than am, which unfortunately is the time period during which the site has a peak in the number of visitors.
My apologies to those who have had their comments lost during this process and my thanks to those who have taken the trouble to repeat them.
Thanks for the explanation!
(Aside to beery hiker)
Following your Comment in the other place where people call this the other place, on counting occurrences of answer words in crosswords, I wrote offering a large database – database of a single setter, though. Just wondering if you saw it.
Rishi,
Thanks – will send you an email
