Hi again, everyone.
Four weeks to go! We’re now at the stage where I need to liaise with the venues about final numbers attending and eating. I would be grateful therefore if those of you who responded on the thread of my previous post would check below that I have transcribed your attendance and food details accurately. If there are errors, or your requirements have changed, please let me know on the thread below.
If your details are correct, there is no need to contact me.
But I do need to know about it if you have ordered food and can no longer attend, otherwise I shall have to reimburse the venues from my own pocket (last year there were five such cases …).
Even at this late stage, if anybody else would like to attend, you’d be made most welcome. Please leave your A-E details on the thread below.
A reminder about the A-E key:
A – your name as you wish it to appear along with, if different from, your real name (unless you wish not to have your real name on your badge – let me know below);
B – attending Friday’s quiz at the Cross Keys;
C – as B and partaking of sandwiches, chips etc (£3);
D – attending Saturday’s main event at the Fox and Roman;
E – as D and partaking of the meal (there will be a vegetarian/GF alternative to the meat dish, but please check that your menu requirements below) (£12).
Between now and the event, please check this thread regularly in case any details have changed in any way.

Am planning to come probably Saturday. But what are the overnight arrangements for the Friday and Saturday nights. I can’t find details on 15 squared Regards Cedric

There’s loads of hotels and B&Bs in the vicinity.
Should make it clear that I am unlikely to attend because Jennifer is now housebound and needs constant care. My attendance would only be possible if my eldest daughter were to be available for care, but that’s not likely at present. I would be quite prepared to make a financial contribution to the catering costs if you end up out of pocket John.

On rechecking the grid above, I seem to be down for attending Friday and requiring food. This is not the case.
I will be attending Saturday only and would like to eat. I am vegan, as I hinted before, with the use of the clue “I’ve strict diet for one apparently leading pack?” from Enigmatist’s puzzle on 22nd July.

Hello John. All details of attendance/food correct for both me and my wife. On the names: if possible, can we have our accented vowels please? I am happiest as Komorník (ASCII code Alt 161 for í) and my wife Marika should be Komorníková (Alt 160 at the end). Thank you for all the work you’re doing for this. Very much looking forward, though I have no idea what to expect.
