I wasn’t too sure what the “or anything else” in 13 across was all about.
That was my last entry which I did agonize a little bit about esp as the checked letters gave ?A?E. I read it in the end (correctly as it turns out!) as HAZE(l), tree short and “or anything else” as you would not see it if there was a haze
