Though the meat of the puzzle was in those 15-lettered lights, there were nice touches for the shorter lights. With you on 19A being the best clue – a tight &lit.
Also agree that in 10A, there’s got to be a typo (at least in the online version) in “wallers”, which together with “repainted” misdirected me.
