Smooth as silk surfaces, clear clueing, no obscurities. What’s not to like? BOYBAND, CHOSEN and TIMBALE were the ones for me today.

    Thanks to setter and blogger.

Good to see some nice quality from Dac, although I would have missed him last week anyway. Love the way AMERICANISATION is spelt with and S and not a Z!

Yes, good stuff as always. Particularly enjoyed the longer anagrams, as you mentioned.

Yes, this was excellent, favourites HITCHED and ACID-HEADS. The IR may be now called something much longer, but they were there for a hell of a long time as that and affected most people’s lives, so I’d say that’s quite OK for a while still and could help to get a start on solving a clue as here for me. Thanks, Dac, and flashling.

Cracking stuff throughout. SUNSET BOULEVARD, AMERICANISATION and BOY BAND were particularly inspired. Thanks, Dac.

A little tougher than some offerings from Dac but it all came together.

A minor point, but I would explain 14a as UN in [ADULTS OBSERVED]*

    Favourites? NOISIER, GREENBACK and SCABBARD.
