Could 14 be ‘supermarket(t in)frequently.
Tin split between two words?
Oops supermarke(t in)frequently.
I think 3dn is probably a mistake on Bradman’s part or else a typo somewhere in the editing.
Thanks Jed.
I parsed SPLIT TIN in the same way as Prantles @1 and I agree with PeeDee’s comment @3
about FATHER-IN-LAW.
I was surprised to see ‘houses’ in the clue for PLAYHOUSE. While solving, I was sure it had
to be another word or some well-known theatre name!
I’m still wondering about the surface reading for VENDETTA. If “that’s” means “that has”
it would be fine with a slight alteration in the word order.
@4 VENDETTA: I meant the cryptic reading. Mike
Yes — an A missing in 3D — very sorry!
There is presumably a typo in the clue to 6d ie troublemaker rather than troubled maker (for Ted).
Despite this and the omission at 3D a thoroughly enjoyable puzzle.
Thanks to Jed and Bradman
Oh dear oh dear — very sorry
