  1. Yes, I found this one really stretching. Stupidly 30ac DELETE took me ages to work out. Thanks to scchua for getting there first, and to Sayang for wrecking my morning schedule.

  2. Thank you, Mr Chua, a Singaporean, for his excellent blog. You forgot to mention that 17Down is an &lit since your island home has banned the rearing of pigs since 1990 and now imports all its needs from many countries, including Pulau Bulan, Indonesia from where about a thousand pigs are imported every day for slaughter at the Buroh Lane Abattoir.

    My last one in was CALF which would have to be one of the most complicated ways that I have seen to get a four letter word!

    TORTURED caused some delays for a while I tried to fit OUR ED into the answer.
