I have been asked to sound out opinion as to the feasibility of having a get-together of solvers in Australia, similar to the S&B gatherings that we have here in the UK, sometime during the next couple of months. If you might be interested in attending such a meeting please indicate this in a comment below, along with your preferred location for it (or your home location and the distance you are prepared to travel).

Well I’ll be in Perth WA during mid-end of November but I suspect I’ll be long gone by then alas.
Mid to late December, before half the country goes on holiday, would probably be good. Trans-Tasman airfares are likely to rocket come Christmas.
I will be in and near Melbourne from Dec 6 to 23 and would love to join if that happened to be the right time and place.
Ideally Newcastle, or could travel to Sydney.
I’m on the Gold Coast. Anywhere I can get to within a couple of hours is fine with me.

which I had the privilege of talking to in Sydney last November and I believe another meeting there is coming up — well worth getting in contact with, if you don’t already know about it.

Great idea! My wife and I would love to paricipate. Coming from NZ, anywhere on the East Coast of OZ would suit, as would early to mid December.
