  1. Picture 3 Butler – the ADMIRABLE Chrichton except Jeeves isn’t a butler, he’s a Gentleman’s Gentleman or Vale

  2. Hi almw3 “Manservant” was the link between Jeeves and Crichton – and you’re right about the former.

    Pic1: The pole weapon carried by Yeomen of the Guards (seen on the left of the pic) is a PARTISAN.
    Pic2: Globally, there are a number of newspapers called “… TRIBUNE”.
    PIc4: The brothers Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus, 2 shining examples of the TRIBUNEs of ancient Rome.
    Pic5: The NOCTURNAL is an olden instrument to determine local time from the relative position of stars.
    Pic6: The SURPRISE variety is the ancestor of many red- and pink-fleshed apples.
