Io is the master, no doubt about it as far as I am concerned. This time he kindly lets me finish with the grid filled and everything explained. Thank you Io.

I really enjoyed this, and found it quite tough aside from a few clues that went in almost immediately from their definitions. Favourite 16dn.

Financial Times 15,195 by HAMILTON
An unusual occurence for me to blog on a Tuesday. Thanks to Hamilton for a fun puzzle that had me galloping for 90% of the solve time and coming unstuck for the remainder. 🙂

Definitions in maroon and underlined.

Beelzebub 1,358
It was a very pleasant surprise to find one more Beelzebub published after we feared that 1,357 may be the last. I learn today from Phi’s blog that this is his 692nd Beelzebub … Read more >>

Independent on Sunday 1,360 by Kairos
I found this different to the usual IoS style, harder and less straightforward. Not a puzzle designed “to let everyone have a go” which I would say is the more normal Sunday theme.
