Puzzle 1234 – whilst not a round number a nice one. This brings a puzzle from Gila with a portrait to be found. Additional words in clues interspersed with extra letters in wordplay give a quotation to identify the portrait. Then a bit of colouring in.
Quite tricky to decipher some of the clues not knowing in which category they fell – but all made sense in the end.

These words were inspired by a picture sent back from Voyager 1 which reminds me more of Douglas Adam’s total perspective vortex. But Carl Sagan had a much more positive take on how significant we all are.

I don’t follow the explanation for 25D. Surely this should be (e (primarily eyes) + your + v)* ripped is the anagram indication but where does the “trousers” come in?
