Sorry this is late, forgot it was my turn to blog. I whizzed though this one employing a few electronic cheats to get the blog out quickly. A shame because I think this is an elegantly constructed puzzle which deserved some more appreciation. Thank you Hypnos/Nitsy.

Found this tough to get into and then was stuck for a long time with 12ac and 1dn last in. Many great clues – particular favourites were both 22s, 2dn, 5dn and 16dn. Thanks, Vlad.
On the hard side for Klingsor. I thought, but none the worse for that: this is his usual well-produced article and I’m always pleased when I see that he is the person I shall have to blog. The clues are smooth and read well as simple phrases.
