  5. What fun!!!! Thanks for sharing the event with those too far away to attend. Weather looks lovely. I recognised Arachne from the “Meet the Setters” column from 2012. What a powerhouse of clever minds gathered in one place!

  7. I just looked at the gallery on the laptop and realised that if I hover over the lower left of each photo, I get the captions!!!!

    Well, what a treat to spot all the “usual suspects” from the 15² forum, and other members of the broader crossword community!!!!

    [That Tess!!! What a lovely dog! Before my son and daughter-in-law relocated from Melbourne to Brooklyn, they were set on adopting a rescued greyhound. However my daughter-in-law was just a little worried about the owners looking like their dog (my son is 6 foot 2 and my d-i-l is 6 foot tall). A bit disappointed now that  I missed out on that particular grand-dog experience.]
