I have installed another WordPress plugin to help control spam. You shouldn’t notice any changes unless Akismet, the site’s primary spam filter, considers your comment to be spam. If it does, you will be presented with a simple Captcha to prove that you are a human.
The Captcha will look like this:
If you complete this Captcha correctly your comment will appear on the site, if you don’t it will be discarded. You will have 10 minutes in which to complete the Captcha before your comment is automatically discarded. I expect that most people will never see the Captcha (other than in this post).
Please let me know if you have any problems when posting comments, or if you are presented with this Captcha at any time. Hopefully there won’t be as many lost comments as there were during the last three months and no valid Captcha entries will be rejected (not that you should ever see one).
