Thanks Jane!
A few updates:
1 As always, I’d be grateful if one or two of you could join me at the York Tap a bit earlier than 6 (e.g. 4pm) to help colonise an area of tables – they won’t let us reserve seats.
2 Friday nosh will be £4 per person – hope that’s ok. As usual, I’ll settle up with Brigantes on the night and collect monies at the Saturday event.
3 Our last port of call, the Ackhorne, is (shock horror) open until 12 midnight.
4 I’m not sure how many people will actually be affected by this (especially given 3 above) but The Fox and Roman will now not open on Saturday until (more horror) 10am – about the time I’m planning to arrive. They will be serving breakfast. I’ve asked for lunch at around 130pm (literally a movable feast, depending on how busy the restaurant is, so breakfast might be an important option).
5 Saturday’s agenda will include quiz answers and results and there will be copies of the quiz available.
Looking forward to seeing you all!
John
John: I can get there early – maybe not as early as 4 but I’ll do what I can.
Also there’s a change in my party for Friday – it now consists of :
Andrew Taylor, Mark Taylor, John Jenkins, Sarah Keighley, Ray Jenkins, Lois Jenkins (1 net extra)
Satiuday is unchanged – just me.
I plan to get there fairly early too – may not be as early as 4 though!
