Apologies and an explanation

My apologies to those of you who have emailed me recently but have not received a reply. I have spent the last 3½ weeks in hospital with no internet/email access, not even via a mobile, hence the lack of response (and the lack of some actions that I would have taken on the site itself).

Having just returned home today, I am still very weak but hope that normal service will be resumed within the next few days.

  45. As one of the many people who appreciate your efforts, I say “no need to apologise”. Put all your energy into getting better. The fact that the site will survive this brief bit of inattention is a testament to your hard work in setting it up properly in the first place.

  64. Isn’t exotic the opposite of domestic? Meaning not native to a certain place? I used to laugh when I read travel blogs (mostly by Brits) about how many exotic birds are native to Australia.

    Also, I didn’t want to add to your email deluge so am very glad of this post as somewhere for us all to send you our messages of goodwill. (I mistyped that first as “goodwell” – not exactly inaccurate either!)
