Quite tricky but enjoyable.
SKETCHY, DISCOMMODES, CIGARETTE, SUNBATHED, WEATHERWORN are favs.
I would add AMMONITES to ilippu’s list. Nice puzzle and blog, thanks.
My feelings and choice of favourites mirror those of ilippu but I’m still unsure about what purpose ‘late’ serves in 16d. ‘Far ahead in development’ is fine but ‘late’ doesn’t seem to have the same meaning.
Thanks to Brunel and to scchua for the review.
At a late / advanced stage
Thanks for puzzle and blog
Thanks to Bobfos @4 – the penny has duly dropped!
As ilippu says, quite tricky but enjoyable. We liked PANORAMIC, AMMONITES and PROSERPINE.
Thanks, Brunel and scchua.
