Comment numbers – now fixed, I hope

It appears that a bug has crept in which is affecting comment numbering.

I will look into it today as a matter of urgency.

This may be related to a licence renewal which I applied yesterday.

If you spot any other problems, please post in Site Feedback and/or send to admin (at) fifteensquared (dot) net.

  1. In case this helps: this looks like an accidental edit whereby the tag has been omitted or changed. The matching tag near the end of the page may well still be there unchanged. All the matching and tags in between (for all the individual comments) are no doubt still there (because the formatting still shows).

  2. Sorry, some text is missing from the above. I was referring mainly to the HTML ‘UL’ tag being missing or corrupted. The matching end tag with the forward slash in front of the UL is no doubt still there.

  3. … or is that the ‘NL’ tag? (My coding days were so long ago!) I just wanted to highlight one obvious and possible cause.

  4. Oh, I see the problem was reported on Site Feedback (the proper place). I hadn’t got to that when I was directed here by a mention from Bodycheetah on General Discussion (wrong place?), from which I receive a feed before that from Site Feedback.
