[New comment layout] - details here
We have previously organised blogging puzzles that setters have submitted for a number of S&B get togethers. Once again, we have a small team who have offered to help.
If you are intending to bring or compile a crossword for the York S&B, we are happy to organise a blog as long as the following criteria are followed:
One puzzle per setter – a pdf version of the clues and grid plus the completed grid on another pdf
The puzzle must have been test solved previously
Detailed parsing of the clues as a pdf
All crosswords should be submitted by 11th October which gives the team some time to complete the blog.
If you are intending to submit one, please leave a comment below and we will get in touch with you about where to send the crossword. We think the emails are working OK now but if you don’t hear back from us within 24 hours, please check this announcement as we will add our email address if needed.
Hi, I plan to submit a puzzle under my own setter name (Henri) but I have also coordinated a collective effort of 30 setters from MyCrossword under the name Platypus.
I’m just checking that it’ll be OK for me to send you both without confusing things on the “one puzzle per setter” rule 😁
HI
I’ve got a puzzle ready under my exit pseudonym and it’s out for test solving so hope to send it soon. And if you’re wondering who Big Al is, I’ve changed my fifteensquared name from allan_c.
Hello dear B&J, long time no see….I’m looking forward to visiting York again.
I have something I’d llike to send.
I think you probably have my email address – if not, I can post it on here
best wishes, Rob
I have one, although it is unlikely that I’ll attend the meeting.
I am planning to submit one too, as Dice – thank you so much to all the volunteer bloggers!
Hi there. I’d love to send one across – if you’re not already swamped.
Hi there
I have a puzzle for the S&B weekend
Sean
(Whimper – I remember Sean’s crosswords from university – can I not blog his, please?)
Message for Bertandjoyce: I have a pre-tested puzzle for Sloggers and Betters. Thank you for the offer.
