Another message from Puck:
The 2017 3D Crossword Calendar is now available, and would make an ideal Christmas present for either yourself (go on, put it on that list!) or for someone else you know that is into crosswords.
The calendar contains one 3D puzzle per month, and each of these completed puzzles can be entered for a monthly prize, with annual prizes also being awarded for the best solvers of the year.
Puzzle setters for 2017 include seven regulars from the Guardian (Arachne, Enigmatist, Nutmeg, Pasquale, Picaroon, Puck and Rufus) and three others whose puzzles are blogged here (Anax, Eclogue and Shark). The calendar also features a bonus 2D puzzle set by Enigmatist in honour of Ray Parry-Morris, a 3D grid designer who sadly died in August.
The calendar costs £12.99, from which £5 goes to the BBC Children in Need Appeal, with remaining profits going to the RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning.

Please could you explain why ‘adore’ is the answer to : ‘A cheat in the matter of love ‘.
Thanks .
A = A
cheat = DO
in the matter of = RE
love = A/DO/RE
OK?
John
Thanks John . The ‘do’ alone I just couldn’t get !! ‘Do over ‘ did run through my head though .
Keep up the good work ! You’re a great help for novices like me !
