Without any prior notification, our hosting company migrated my account, and hence the site, to a new server earlier today and it would appear that in the process a number of comments were lost. Had I known about this in advance, I would have posted an announcement requesting that no comments be posted at around the time the move was due to take place. My apologies to those that have lost comments or have had to re-post them.

Many thanks, Gaufrid.
Hi Gaufrid/all, a bit off topic but in the same ballpark, but I seem to be getting bounces and non-receipt to/from all btinternet{dot}com e-mail addresses – is anyone else having the same problem?…
Thank you for explaining what went wrong, Gaufrid. I thought it was something I had done when I posted my comments. I was very pleased that several participants re-posted what they had said. It was a very good – and good-humoured – blog.

I have sent you an email from my btinternet.com email account to see if it gets through.
mc_rapper67@2: Some time ago I had e-mails bounced from a btinternet address. The intended recipient suggested that I was using a word or phrase that, unknown to me, occurred in scam e-mails that were targeting btinternet users.
allan_c at #5 – thanks for the info – much appreciated – I have chased it up and am being told Yahoo (who are subcontracted to run BT’s e-mail) probably think I am a spammer for some reason…I am investigating!
