Sorry for the late notice – I only just found out myself.
FYI Times do is Tuesday May 30th – 12 for 1230 for the lunch (for the compilers), but there’s usually a bit of a turn-out at The George in the afternoon so that everyone can meet and have a chin-wag.
Many thanks Ken for publicising this, the first Times compilers do for three years, by my reckoning (due to pandemics and train strikes inter alia).
In previous years the great and the good (and some others too) have assembled in The George (in Borough, just down from the News building at London Bridge) from lunchtime onwards, and the Times crowd descends (quite lidderally, as the lunch is on the top floor) at around 1600.
I’m sorry I didn’t think to send this in sooner, silly of me really. If you can make it, please do come along to the jolly old George.
