I’m pleased you’re chuffed Admin. 15 squared is a great resource for those wanting to understand how cryptic crosswords work. The video put a face to someone who I’ve had the privilege of test solving a couple of his puzzles. I’m aware, since I found this site a few years ago, that a few contributors here have gone on to be setters. Names such as PostMark (Stamp in the i), Coot (also in the i), Fez (aka Cranberry in EV and the Inquisitor) and Henri (Rob T on here) are all names I’ve come to know in this regard. The other site worth a mention (which is in your list of links) is MyCrossword where you’ll find a lot of the works of the above mentioned as well as others. Some great feedback on that site for those wanting to jump over the fence from solving to setting.
*blush* Thanks for the kind words. And thanks for running this site, I meant every word of my praise 😁
I hope this is OK to mention here (Admin, please delete if not) but I’ve just launched an email newsletter that will send out a free new barred thematic puzzle once a month to anyone who signs up. Over the last couple of years I’ve compiled over a dozen such puzzles that haven’t been submitted to professional publications, and they might as well find an audience. My regular cryptic output goes on MyCrossword, but barred thematics are a little trickier to find outlets for. So self-publishing might be part of the answer, I’m thinking.

Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this interview with your readers! I feel encouraged and hope to host more discussions in addition this one and another I’ve had with Fez (aka Cranberry). Thank you again, and thanks once more to Henri.

It was nice to be able to see more than just the top of your head!
NP with the newsletter.
Henri – have you tried 1 Across? They’re desperate for submissions. Magpie is another good outlet for barred thematics.
Widders @5 – I have thought of Magpie (I subscribe) but not 1 Across (I do not) — thanks for the tip, I’ll check it out 👍
