Thanks Lorraine,
The usual excellent surfaces from Everyman. I’ve ticked quite a few clues but particular favourites were SCOURGE, NOSTRUM and DIM SUM.
1d, 4a & 13a were easy if you knew who Willy Loman ,Odette & Hornblower were. If you didn’t you had to wait until you had a few checkers unless you wanted to google. For that reason I didn’t really like those clues.
Otherwise ok.
Thanks for the blog.
Thanks Lorraine and Happy Christmas to you.
In Liverpool a Nomarch is a disreputable person……
It seems strange sitting down after Sunday lunch today without an Everyman crossword to beguile me. Thank you Everyman for your weekly entertainment throughout the year.
Thanks, Lorraine.
I missed Everyman on Sunday too. My favourites in this one were ANTIMONARCHIST and DIM SUM – both elegant but accessible clues, as always in this puzzle.
